Christie Heart is a charismatic performer who has been described as 'earthy and sexy' with the 'Voice of an Angel'.
Best known as a singer/songwriter who performs around Melbourne, particularly in the thriving community of musicians and artists in the 'hills' of Melbourne's outer east. She has now branched into the realms of literature with the completion of her debut novel 'Leave The Wake Behind'.
The book has direct links to her music as the storyline was formed from a selection of original songs - one song for every chapter. The idea was to create a novel that would stand alone as a great read and connect it to a CD of the songs that initially inspired it (find out more in the 'My Book' page)
Christie usually performs solo on acoustic guitar - a mix of contemporary, country/folk, Celtic, swing jazz- originals and favorites.
